Welcome to our exciting and revolutionary hand support for today's cameras.
Our Pi Camera Support is a very compact and lightweight hand held camera holder. With its companion foldable set-up stand, the camera is quickly balanced, requiring only a handful of minutes for non-experts. Set up time becomes much shorter once the locating points are learned. This offers unprecedented versatility and portability to professionals, who are required to be consistently creative in a very competitive industry. The fluid motion in camera movement provided by the Pi Camera Support mimics the way we see the world, after our brain filters out unwanted shake and vibration, which our eyes are constantly subjected to. Please take the time to tour our newly created web site for a product that promises to become the inseparable companion of many image-makers, and think the possibilities! After a long developmental period for the prototypes, our product is now ready to be manufactured, since many technical issues have been solved. Unwanted camera swing has been virtually eliminated by elegant and simple means. The Pi Camera Support is pleasantly functional even without the counterweights and with only one pivot point. This important feature can result in lower manufacturing costs and higher unit sales. A smaller version can also be manufactured, attracting the average consumer. The Pi Camera Support is the first practical handheld device that combines the advantages of a support stabilizer with the qualities of a static or rolling minijib. There are obvious variations to this system, which is adaptable to many cameras up to 2kg, including the Sony DSR-PD150, and that by its nature, future models can have lateral swing, support vests with springed arms, monopod grips and hand grip remote camera operation. Initial tests by professional operators without any previous familiarization with this product, show very encouraging results, posted in our Video Clips page. The anodized supports have not yet been photographed, but you can view the bare aluminum prototypes in the Photos page. We welcome your comments.
